Nimbus is excited to share some big news.
We’ve secured major funding from NatWest, recognising the strength of our intellectual property and the impact of our technology in reshaping the property industry. This milestone will accelerate our mission to transform the real estate sector through innovation, data, and technology.
We're also proud to be one of the first businesses to access NatWest's ground-breaking intellectual property-backed funding, designed to help high-growth, innovation-led companies scale rapidly.
The funding will be used to:
-
Expand our AI-driven IP to bring smarter, faster insights to customers
-
Build new customer-centric products that support every stage of the property lifecycle
-
Grow our sales and marketing teams, reaching more partners and clients across the UK
We’re also looking to expand our technical team further, hiring specialists to help us stay ahead of the curve.
Since launching in 2015, Nimbus has grown from its roots at the University of Warwick Science Park to a 60-strong team of innovators, including Warwick PhDs. Along the way, Nimbus Maps has become a market-leading platform for property professionals, supporting everything from investment and development to asset management and disposals.
Our co-Founder and co-CEO Simon Davis summed up the significance of this moment:
“This is a game-changer for us, enabling rapid investment in the next generation of technology to keep delivering cutting-edge solutions for our customers. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but the team has so much further to go. With NatWest’s support, we’re building the future for the real estate sector and beyond.”
The transaction was introduced by Raze Finance and led by NatWest’s broker network, with support from IP valuation experts Inngot.
NatWest’s Alyson Poulson said:
“Their commitment to innovation and growth aligns perfectly with our mission to back businesses that are driving the UK economy forward.”
This partnership with NatWest marks an important chapter in our growth story. By leveraging the value of our intellectual property, we’re able to invest more in innovation, grow faster, and deliver even more value to our customers.
